How was everyone’s Labor Day weekend? Some of you may be outside of US, so might not of had a 3 day weekend. Long weekend equal to trip to somewhere. Anyone went anywhere fun?

This morning, I was reading local news site and they talked about teen was killed by a car. Driver was texting and wasn’t paying attention on the road and next thing, boom ram this teen.

Here’s a quick stats I searched online about distracted driving, specially texting

Texting While Driving Causes:

1. 1,600,000 accidents per year – National Safety Council
2. 330,000 injuries per year – Harvard Center for Risk Analysis Study

4. Nearly 25% of ALL car accidents

Texting While Driving Is:

1. About 6 times more likely to cause an accident than driving intoxicated

That’s pretty scary stats isn’t it? You may not text and drive… but that doesn’t mean, driver next to you don’t. Be aware around when you drive

    in Australia, it illegal to have a phone in your hand at all whilst operating a motor vehicle

      I wish that’s the case for whole US states, but that’s not the case. Hopefully some common sense supreme court judge will pass the law, so no one have phone in their hand while driving.
